Cool H6 rear brake upgrade.

Just finished the install on my FXT. Everything went smoothly except for the brake pads and clips. They are not the same. The XT brake pad ears are about 1/4 wide while the H6 setup uses ones that are about 1/2.

These are the parts I used.
2@ 26700AE04B rotor
2@ 26625AE020 bracket
1@ 26696AE020 brake pad kit.

I will post pictures later in the day

Richard

Notice the difference between the two. The ears on the pads and brackets are different sizes. This was a surprise. All the research I've done said the old pads will fit. Thanks to Frank for the Saturday chauffeuring to the local dealer. Owe you one buddy.

Here's a better comparison of the rotor size difference.

Thanks for the heads up I have the pads too so I should be good to go. I have a page here for the Impreza and will be doing the Forester after I get my wheels this spring:

PS "H6 upgrade" is sort of a misnomer. All 2000+ Legacy's have the same rear brake rotor size not just the H6
