F letting him rot in a federal prison which will prolly happen. Id rather see him get zapped in the electric chair or how bout we hang him off the statue of liberty and fire a few missiles at his head

no ofense to those who live in the Jerzyand like it..

i'd say federal Pound Me In The Ass Prison for 3 years, then death by dropping him out a plane at 20,000ft. over Indonesia or some other 3rd world country.(after injecting him with something tso he only has 20 minutes to live...just in case he survives the fall by managing to sneak a parachute or something.)

That is probably what the iraqi tribunal will do with him. He would much rather be in a US prison than what his own people will do to him.

It's doubtful Saddam will ever be on US soil. He should be tried by the Iraqi people, not us. The crimes he committed were against them. Imagine 30 years of tyranny. Generations of families were effected. Hopefully we can leave Iraq very soon and let the peaceful Iraqis go about building their country without unwanted help from any other country. Our troops are needed elsewhere to help quelm the potential conflict with N.Korea and to find Usama Bin-Laden. If the Iraqi people so choose to ask for help then we'll be there.

Oh really, no offense at all
I really don't mind living here and can think of at least 49 other places in the US that could be worse.

We haven't left Japan since WWII, what makes you think we'll leave Iraq?

i say they should put him in solitary confinement forever. killing him won't help us in the middle east. he might become another hero for some of those opposed to the U.S.

we don't need any more martyrs.

Right right, but don't expect us to pull out anytime soon, the rebuilding process will take a long while, my guess? 10 years before we are completely out as far as patrolling etc. But at least we may get more people who were afraid of him to join the democracy.

Default they found saddam =]

torture time for him!
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- After eluding coalition forces for months and vowing never to be taken alive, a disheveled Saddam Hussein was found hiding in a hidden hole near a farmhouse and was captured without firing a shot, coalition authorities announced Sunday.

I agree with Touch... how about setting an example for the rest of the world, we are supposed to be above everyone else. We do not need to torture him, kill him, or treat him like crap. That is what most of the Arab world would expect, and would be one more excuse to hate the US and continue terrorist actions against us. As the cliche goes, two wrongs don't make a right. Even though street justice is certainly warranted, diplomatically we have nothing to gain by that course of action.

I actually dont know if we would be allowed to put him in a federal prison, his crimes are international in nature therefore Im sure a military tribunal will happen, I think they normally hold those at the Hauge. From there we will see.
