PWN3D Got Tickets?

Driving over to GLWagons joint with DMan and Mrs. Dman for some gaming and eats, i got pulled over by the fuzz.

wasn't speeding, wasn't driving like a retard, but for what? ....

illegal window tint. $156.20
booooooooo!!!

i got tested for 30% on the fronts. but he never even checked the backs. said that they were okay. (even tho i'm positive they're illegal as well. but as long as i remove the front i'm okay...)

anyone else have this prob? easy way around it? pain in the arse? solutions?

grr.... [/rant]

and because ttiwop... 30 fronts 20 rears. goodbye nice tint.

not sure about WI's laws, but in IL you can't have
any tint on the front side windows. the rears, you can
have them pitchblack, no one cares.

i got pulled over on the previous car i had, but the
cop let me go after telling him that my ride was a
show car. (true story). but i did take the
front side tints off as i didn't wany any more
attention.

Wisc is 50% front, 30?% rear (maybe 35)

No windshield tint, but a strip is allowed.

But IL has it as a fix it ticket. Go to court with a reciept showing you had them removed and the fine is reduced or just dropped all together.

i was told that if i remove the front and get it signed off by him, that they'll drop the ticket.

i just don't really wanna deal with this NOW. with christmas and new years coming up, it gives me like... 2 weeks tops to deal with everything. that's some shizzy timing.

i think for dman making me drive up to baraboo... HE should pay the ticket.
(don't worry mikey, for xmas i'll buy ya for some new flame retardant pants. )

Yeah, and then the cop asked me for my license. I asked why and he said I didn't have my seatbelt on. Then I grabbed the seatbelt, which was on at all times, and pointed to it.
He still wanted to see my license.

while i was not ticketed, i was pulle dover this weekend, because an officer "did not see [me] stop" at a stop sign.

I asked if he could see the stop sign from where he was

"no"

i then pointed out that it might be possible that i stopped out of his sight, then continued when it was clear, and he "let me go" with a verbal warning.

i know someone who got out of it by taking some pics of their freinds rex without tint (it looked just like his car with the plates switched), then took those pics into court and said..."look, all gone." Judge let him go on his way.

Wow. I thought I remember reading that you could have 35% tint on front and rear windows in Wisconsin. Maybe it's changed? When I get a WRX I'd like to tint the windows..

Sauk County Sheriff. prolly 6'2, buck 80.

i thought about finding someone with an STi with silver wheels just letting me borrow their car for a couple hours. swap plates, go see the sheriff and be on my way.

i just find it absolutely RETARDED that i have to drive to the Sauk County Sheriff's office to get it taken care of. why a Dane County Sheriff, or even a Friendly Fitchburg 5-0 can't take care of it is dumb. does sauk have different laws? i doubt it. so i find it absolutely LUDACRIS!

don't think i'll make it to the meet s555. depends on if i come home for the weekend. i might tho, my bro flys in on wednesday.
