Thumbs up Looks great

If this were to occur, I think the ground clearance would be a little greater than what you show here. For the '04 model, Subaru raised the ground clearance 1".

Also, I think the bed sport bars look a little forced here. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the current sport bars. All they seem to do is create problems for those who want to put a bed cover on the vehicle. Yeah, it can be done (and is being done), it just makes the job harder, and they serve no functional purpose.

Finally, I'm sure if this were to occur, the grille insert would probably change too (time to introduce the the new-look grille, perhaps?). Maybe even the cladding?

BTW, your Photoshop skills are excellent! Are you a graphic designer, and/or Photoshop specialist?

Thanks, and nope, this is just a hobby- and maybe a sign that I have too much free time

You can see some of my other photochops here.

Thank you. Unfortunately, all the 2-door Legacy pictures on the website are simply products of Photoshop. As far as we know, FHI doesn't have any plans to actually produce a Legacy coupe.
A few of us over in the News forum have tried to bring our ideas to Subaru's attention though.

the imprezza and forester versions are great espically the imprezza i think FHI should consider making the BAJA it's own body style it may boost the sales a little at my dad's dealership they've had two one was drivin by the owner of the dealership then sold to a rich american who bought it to leave at his cottage here (a $40,000cdn car that will be drivin 2-3 months a year) and the other one is still up for sale

Phoenix 96,
Your Photoshop skill is very good, I'd be a proud owner of any of those BAJA'S if they existed.
Unfortunatly Subaru is not going to put lots of money into redesighning the BAJA.
Turbo is not going to save the BAJA, even though it is an excellent option, The world has not been sitting back waiting for BAJA Turbo. Those who want it, and have waited for it Three cheers for them!
What can be done to save the BAJA?
1) Put someone who beleives in the BAJA in charge of the entire BAJA program. Is He/She willing to drive the Baja as their own vehicle. As skilled as they may be, maby they should be in charge of a diffrent Subaru product.
2) Put a trunk lid on the Sedan, market the BAJA as the Sedan with the largest trunk space available in any Sedan. With an easily removable trunk lid for extra loads.
3) Remove the sport bars,I like mine, but the goal is a larger market share.
4) Three seater in back,(market share again.)
5) On the cladding, remove the large hump on the front fender, more body color less cladding. The rest of the cladding is OK.
6) No cargo rack on roof,(option only.)
Phoenix96 could you picture this vehicle,I'd love to see it.
Just my,(more than two cents worth)

Yes, its the new Holden. I figure, since GM owns Holden & Subaru, maybe we might get this style in a few years.

For now, I would be happy with a 04 Turbo...... What to do with my jeep....

From what I have heard, that Holden and its wagon counterpart are the result of Subaru refusing a request by Holden to sell Outbacks/Legacies under the Holden name in Australia.

GM doesn't own subaru they just own a little bit of the company that owns subaru although the do seem to be the masters at car/truck combo's the avalanche, El Camino much better than other companys attempts. GM is working its way closer to subaru though, now you can get Onstar in you high end outback's, and there is a new saab coming out this summer that is a wrx wagon with a saab front end
