Post Some of you guys are pretty mea.n ttt???!!!

What the heck does that mean? Moving up th real posts? I already hate you guys!! I sincerely hope that not all of you are as inconsiderate to a newbie to the club. I am a newbie. Fact. I know nothing about Subaru's. Fact. I sorry if I post dumb questions but if you have nothing polite to say, I'm rather go back to twinturbo.net. Where at least members are respected there. I apologize to all those who this does not apply. That is everybody Excpt Fishguy and Pleiades. If this is how most others are then lemme know so i do not make the mistake that people are friendly here or something. I was really excited about joing this club too. I've already ordered my WRX and know little if nothing at all about the car. Sorry again.

I've never seen the board more messed up than it was this morning. There's never been any of that TTT crap til earlier today, at least not that I've noticed.

Welcome to the club, & we're definitely usually not like this!

ok.. everyone.. breathe..

ok.. the TTT stuff was because of me.. I asked that people grab "real" threads to sink the "offending" threads that you apparently missed..

I wasn't trying to do anything other than clean the forum by burying the crap threads that a troll had posted to this forum..

so everyone stop taking it as some offensive action.. it was a defensive action that I initiated..

there is more to it that is apparent.. but if you were on around 8:00 am EST.. you know exactly what I am talking about..

please.. I hope this is clear now because I've explained it all atleast 4 differnt times today..

and the posts like this.. are hiding the legitimate content of the board....

moving on..

myko011, to answer your questions from previous posts...

1) The new MY02 (by US naming standards) WRX was released in Japan and elsewhere approximately 4 months ago, so it is still in the first year of production around the world. (Everywhere else it is considered MY01 - ONLY the US considers it MY02)

2) The STi engine is practically (or actually) a completely different engine. Regardless, it is much easier to tweak an engine which is already turboed than one that is not... I'm sure it will not be very long before the chip makers will have a performance chip for the WRX. (ENJOY!)

What does "ttt" mean?

It's not surprising that all of a sudden I-club gained a lot newbies. Many of them probably have been to LA or Detroit Auto Show and saw the new Impreza, and became interested.

I think this is a good thing.

Not every one can find as much as resources as some of us do, and not every one can understand Japanese to read some very comprehensive Japanese site or magazines to get some exclusive info.

So c'mon, give the newbies some warm welcome.

imprezard - TTT is 'to the top'

Myko011 - Oh yeah, welcome aboard!!

Damn, for all the time I spend here, I missed all the excitement that apparently went on yesterday!!! Anyway, hope that situations like that never happen again, because the i-club is the greatest electronic forum I've been to.

Hey, it's all cool now. Sorry for the confusion. If any of you saw what was in the forum early yesterday, you would really understand. The post werenot deleted because only of moderator of the Gen. Forum can do that, and they were all sleeping somewhere in another time zone. So the east coast people did whay they thought would be the next best thing.

Sorry for any confusion, and hope to see you all on the board again. It is really a great place. This is the first time I have ever seen something like that happen.
