Cool Getting my '02 WRX Soon...

I can't wait! I am getting my new WRX in about a month. (would have been sooner but the dealer screwed up... oh well at least they are giving me a $500 discount) It is a WR Blue Pearl 5 spd with the BBS Rims, I test drove one this past weekend and, oh man I loved it! Awesome power compared to the car I have now('00 Eclipse RS). So man I can't wait to get my WRX, it is going to be a blast! I hope to learn more from all of you about the subbies.

Nick

Very nice car. Now you'll come to know the Suby "mystique" that surrounds this car that perhaps the WRX will open to the American auto market....

You should have come to the site sooner. Maybe someone could have saved you some money before you wasted it on those ridiculously priced BBS wheels.

Oh well, welcome to the club.

WOW, I think you're the first person I've heard of paying for the WAY expensive BBS wheels. How much is your dealer charging for them?

zahn, on the WRX forum about 3 or 4 people have the BBS rims... Paid around $2200 for them (IE at cost). These are VERY good rims and worth it IMO if you can afford them...
They are DESIGNED FOR THE WRX specifically, and thats something you cant get with other aftermarket rims. They are very light too, and some of the owners swear the car just goes faster with them on (Less weight on the tires to spin)

Well basically the rims themselves are 1800 at least thats what the salesman quoted me, and then I am buying the tires elsewhere. so that puts me at about 2300 after nice tires.
And yeah they are very nice rims, most BBS rims cost a lot any way, and plus they are specific to the car, which I like
