Default Swap up & running! Pic's

Im using a Cobb 2.5 built shortblock that I had in my WRX for a couple years but it still has good compresion, Ver7 heads,6-speed,Brembos,R180 rear diff,vf39 for now,ver 7 RA ecu.,GD front & rear crossmembers, US STI quick ratio steering rake
Thats most of the conversion parts.

Are you using the r180 from a gdb impreza. If so are you using the axles from that car too along with the hubs and brembos pictured. Or did you use gc8 r180 axles with gdb hubs and brembos. I was always told the rear axles are too long for gc8's so you'd have to use gc8 axles to fit. thanks for any help.

Also what suspension are you running. Any rubbing with the rims and tires, im assuming 225's.

Using the GDB big axles with hubs. No the axles arnt to long. They dont bottom out. Ther is only a small difference in track with on the GDBs. The only thing that really needed modified is the rack it is a diffenent spline than the GC. I used a GD steering yoke cut & welded to the GC yoke.

I like your style. I would love to go with a shorter rack but I lack the skills to make it fit.

So are you using the new/wider track front and rear or did you retro fit the need parts to use the original track?
