Default Where is the Subaru and the STi headquarter in Tokyo?

I will be in Japan next month, I want to go visit Subaru and STi and buy some parts

The last January I went to Tokyo, I can only managed to find a little STi shop in Tokyo. I know they must have a headquarter building. I am a Nissan freak, Nissan have 2 huge buildings in Ginza and Nismo got a huge building in Omori. Subaru and STi got to have the same kind of buildings!

I know Subaru have a building in Shinjuku because I see their logo when I was walking around Shinjuku, just couldn't find the building.

Can anyone help me out and give me some direction?

I am going to read all the Hyper Rev and Impreza magazine I have to figure this out

Thank you in advance

Did you search here or www.subaru.com (or .co.jp and use alta vista to translate). Someone did post the location but I can't recall.

I haven't start really look into it yet. I tried looking on the STi site (www.subaru-sti.co.jp) and came up empty.

I figure I ask here to see if anyone knows.

Thanks for the input

Nope - no big STi shop exists at this time. The small one in Ueno is the only "STi" one. You'll find more parts at Super Autobacs in Shinonome, but not everything, and most of it will be bling stuff (along with Prova, Syms, Zero etc). The only way to generally access the whole range is via mail order...

The Subaru HQ in Shinjuku is just that - HQ. A few cars and some stuff on display, nothing more.

Have a great time!

The STi Tokyo store. Very small, but they've got some good stuff inside (not much, though, don't expect too much from it)

The Subaru building in Shinjuku, get off Shinjuku station, walk about a block West, head North, and keep going and you'll see it a few blocks down.

If you have the time, you can also look for ScLabo (Subaru Customize Laboratory) out in Gunma. I can't remember what its called, but I know they have something other than the factory. Never been out there so I can't tell you exactly what.

Hey wrx_sti_ver4, do you know any good enthusiast sites like http://www.impreza.gr.jp/ for Legacy owners? Everything I have seen are small private group, not nation wide.

Thank you for the infos

The STi shop in Ueno is the little shop I mention I went to, so that is "it" huh I was hoping STi have something like Nismo Omori factory where they got everything there..........

I have been to 3 Autobacs in Tokyo so far, I went to the Tokyo bay one, I forgot the name of the other 2 I went to. So is the Shinonome store a big store? I was told the Tokyo bay store is the biggest one, is that correct?

gjhsu,

Thanks a bunch for the direction

So sounds like it is a ways off the Shinjuku station, no wonder I didn't see it last time. I only walk 2 blocks away from the Shinjuku station and gave up

I WILL find it this time!!

wrx_sti_ver4,

Yes I am planning to go to ScLabo (Subaru Customize Laboratory) too, last time my friend went, I skipped it (because I wasn't a big Subaru fan yet).

So this time I am planning to go to:

ScLabo (Subaru Customize Laboratory).
The Subaru HQ in Shinjuku.
The STi store in Ueno.

Any other place Subaru related that are interesting to check out? I have 6 days in Tokyo, 2~3 days will be spend at TAS, so I have 3 days or so to wonder around to drool and buy JDM Subaru stuff

Thank you all for all the advices and help

Addict, I believe Tokyo Bay is the Shionome Store. It's in front of Shionome Station, the area is known as Bay Area in tokyo. Go to Streetlife (www.streetlife.co.jp) for the real rally application.

Hi all,

I am back home now, the Japan trip was fun. I went to:

The Subaru HQ in Shinjuku. (gjhsu........thank you very much for the direction , I found it using your direction! )

The small STi shop in Ueno. Nothing to see there, only cool thing is seeing a real S202 in person that parked out front.

Super Autobacs at Shinonome. Bought some stuff. It is always fun at autobacs. hatake.......yes the Shinonome store is the Tokyo bay store.

Thanks to you guys, I had a good trip

Awesome. Glad I could help.

When I went to the STi store, I saw a sweet little GC8 in the back and explained that we were from America and we would be honored if we could take a peek at the car in the garage in back, and here we have it, a Type-RA, done up in race-car style:

A little bit OT:

When I was in Japan, I was looking for the second largest night club in the world, Velfarre, in Roppongi. Needless to say, I couldn't find it.

It's impossible to find things over there unless someone physically shows you where it is.

Yeah I hear you, because everything there is so compressed and the entrance is so tiny. You have to know EXACTLY where to go.

Unlike here, yeah you drive on this freeway and you exit when you see the building
