New MY01 in town!

Wahoo! Just picked up new MY01 BRP coupe and I'm super excited! Now I can feel like a true member of the BAIC! Wahoo! Coming from a civic hx slushbox this car is a huge step-up! Me rikes! Hehe, sleep may be hard to come by tonight!

Anybody else had this problem? Parts and pix to come soon!

hey congrats man. I was just like you when i first got my sube. As a matter of fact the first night i got it i slept in it. Hey im from SJ too. Hey we should set up a meet witht eh other SJ drivers. I talk to them online their cool. Your going to like beign in the Iclub, it onyl starts here man. O yeah welcome to the subaru owners family.

new here but i've been reading and searching posts for a month or 2, ever since i bought my new Impreza. look for a blue 2000 RS sedan (stock) around the eastridge/cunningham area. i haven't seen many at all in east SJ. -g

I'm not from the South Bay, but I have the only BRP Sedan I've ever seen on the road.
Aside from that, if you guys got together to do some driving on say... Hwy35/Hwy9 I might come down that way.

Oh yeah, I lost sleep for weeks and would go out and just drive around the neighborhood at night.

You RS drivers are so dense.

You never notice other cars, such as the green one with me in it. Hardly ever a wave or whatever. What is it, just because I have a lower drag coefficient with a smooth hood and no wing???

There was one cool fellow in a sedona red 2000 in Mtn View about a month ago that gave me a wave, but there are tons of BRP drivers here that never notice.

I'm now in South San Jose. I work in Cupertino. Necromancer, I think I've seen you on Stevens Creek, near 280. I remember doing a double take when I saw a green Impreza, I followed for a little bit to see if it was an RS.

I waved but you didn't see me. Also there is an asian guy right around here who drives a white coupe I think.

Okay okay, hehe, I'm feelin' the love here, thanks guys. Sometimes my "all go, no show" philosophy can get a tad boring...

At my office garage there's a '98 RBP and a '00 BRP ... left a note on the former's windshield to check out the board and say hello ... not a single response. Oh well. I like to think the driver must be some hot chick who thought she was getting picked up or something.

Anywayz, hell yeah, we should get a south bay meet going. HomerJay, you HAVE to make the 250 mile round trip to meet us! haha

Hey Joe, I gave up trying to wave at people. I usually see OBS' up here and it's always little old ladies drivin them. I met one guy who cornered me at a parking lot and invited him to join our board, but no response. I'm giving up! As soon as the WRX comes out, this board will probably be flooded with idiots!

(I hope this doesn't happend) By the way,I'd be pissed about the 250 mile round trip to the south bay, but I've got much better roads to drive up here! By the way, when are you getting your butt up here?

Necromancer, yeah I had the CVT. I guess the idea is cool but it sure does suck out the power of the already low 115hp. You don't feel the gear shifts show you sometimes wonder if it's always in the same gear, which I guess if you think about it, it is. Anyways, this scooby rocks compared to the civic!
