Default My Car in Sport Compact Car

My car made Sport Compact Car's "the Street" this month!

Only problem is, they spelled my name wrong, they didn't print my location, and they mispelled the name of my uppipe.

Illiterate Bastards!
Oh well, at least it's in there.

Thanks.
Nope, it's not online yet. Their online reader's ride section is still showing April's cars.

Think I just saw it in February's issue. Black '04 with anthracite wheels right?

Nice ride

Yea, I'm saving up for some APC decals and a 72" aluminum wing, good for 478awhp.

Thanks for the compliments. Here's a better shot.

I was on the cover of one.

A couple years ago I went to a June NHIS autocross and somehow had a butt-shot of my car end up on the cover of some autocross mag. (It's a black and white publication, don't remember the title.) webkris had to tell me about it, I had no idea!

That was my 10 seconds of fame, though. Heh. Well, excepting two articles I published in the UNH newspaper when I was a journalism minor in college...

slingshot,

Nice car!! Think I saw it in there. Don't worry about the misspelling--SCC does that a lot. Last month's had a guy in the military who's serving in Iraq... The pic was clearly of an RS, with a little JDM bodywork, but it was called a "2002 WRX" or something like that.

So I come back in and realize my 'congrats' didn't make it.

Congrats! It's fun being in a mag. How many copies are you gonna buy to show family/friends?

--kC
(I usually do about 3-4 extra, to mail them to my family, and one to cut up for my scrapbook)

Were you recently selling this on ebay?

And now are privately selling it to someone in Shutesbury?

It looks really similar to the one I'm thinking of.

Yep that's the one. Kris gave me a copy, I have it in a box in my closet somewhere.

I really should dig it out and get it framed. I just thought that was SO weird. Why on God's green Earth they photographed *my* car is beyond me.

It's not like I did well that day.

My name was in scc last month with a picture of my brothers burn out. It was the little purple mx-3 that you could only see the hood of. He was pissed cause they typed my name under the pic because I sent it in.

I saw that. That's a huge burnout for an MX-3!

Yes it was you should have seen the field behind it. There was about another 50 yards worth of smoke but I didn't bring my wide angle with me. My little brother being the dumbass that he is had his windows rolled down when he did that.
