Question Spoiler Removal??

Just wondering. Has anyone thought of removing their spoiler?? Anyone already done this? Comments?

My reasoning for this is that 1. There would be one less object for someone to steal. 2. Car would be less of a target for police. 3. Would be more aerodynamic. - less drag.

Thanks.

Roy.

I think the leading edge of the wing is on plastic clips - just pull it off. The rear attatchements can be unscrewed.

It attaches with 4 nuts and there are 6 holes (2 of the holes are for plastic studs that come from the spoiler into the rear deck. I havee replaced the trunk (any 93-2000 impreza trunk will fit, sedan or coupe). It is much cheaper to replace the deck than to have the holes filled and the trunk repainted.

I am actually selling my plain silver trunk, but shipping it to WA from Chicago would probably cost more than the trunk is worth
