I posted about this two months ago regarding the 22B flares. The front flares are completely bolt on and it compatible with our stock front bumper. The rear flares require some body work - up to 10 days. I'm not sure if that includes the paint job.

Geezer,
I beg to differ Sir! How could one forget the Lincoln Continental VR4? Or the Ford Galaxy WRC? |

It is still my dream to see a Caprice Classic with chandeliers on the hood doing a stage rally. Oh bliss!

I don't think anyone ever says that
Seriously though, TAD Motorsports and Vermont Sports Cars aren't exactly backyard mechanics |

I've seen the Eurosport car in person not very imprezive. Very sloppy. The pictures make it look very good.

If you want well built cars by U.S. shops, look no further than perennial National champs Libra Racing, who take a Hyundai shell, mix in some Mitsu parts and beat everyone pretty regularly.
If you want fast rally cars based on 'Merican models, how about Henry Krolikowski's Dodge Shadow (gack!) with which he whupped a well financed and factory supported Supra Turbo for the Group 5 National Championship last year. What about Eurosport? I must be bad luck for them. In two separate rallies where I was spectating, their (old) car had an oil fire right in front of me. Check out photos from STPR 99: http://www.rallystuff.com/stpr99/sakisfire1.jpg and http://www.rallystuff.com/stpr99/sakisfire2.jpg |

The funny thing is, the Caprice would run forever and beat the euro-cars on longevity alone

Caprice? Yeah right. My old Sentra went through 70,000 miles of stop and go Domino's Pizza delivery(when $3 off if beyond 30 minutes was still in affect) plus another 140,000 miles of personal driving.
I bet if I had a Ford, GM or Chrysler they would not have made it without a major problem. Only thing I had to replace on my Sentra was the clutch cable and clutch plate. Now my best friend owns the car. Too bad he riced it out. Damn. |
