I have the Prodrive with the stealthback and I'm running the Cobb Stage 2. The Prodrive sounds good, albeit not very loud. The car in general sounds mean though. My girlfriend has a stock '04 Wagon and its night/day driving in hers compared to mine. The Prodrive may be quieter than most aftermarket exhausts, but thats not to say it doesn't make any noise at all.
I guess it all depends on what kind of statement you want to make. For me personally, something like the Blitz or RFL Ti is just attracting even more attention than I need to. My car sounds almost exactly like rylands BTW. |

![]() Also, if anyone wants to hear it from a certain position/speed etc, let me know and I can get it for ya. I say this because I know that when I was looking for exhausts, I wanted GOOD QUALITY video clips and sound clips etc. If you have any requests, e-mail me at ryland@frozencpu.com or aim me at rybk220. |

My girlfriend has a stock '04 as I said and man, is my car alot different. Mine is loud and pi$$y and has tons of torque. The Stage 2 runs flawlessly and I get better gas mileage too! ![]() |

I am running a stealthback with a Scorpion axle back. It is pretty quiet but loud enought to have a good sound. If you are looking for loud you won't be happy. My last car was an '01 Z28 with an SLP Loudmouth exhaust (the name says it all). My Z28 had a lot of droning, so I am really happy with the sound of my wrx. BTW, I also running a Cobb stage 2; it makes the car much more much more driveable and greatly increases performance.

ryland, I would love to see a video taken from inside the car to hear how the exhaust sounds from inside.

ryland - sounds good!!! also sent you a PM on a related question.
I wanna get prodrive now. QUESTION: aren't the Scorpion and Prodrive axelbacks kinda like the same aside from Prodrive being the more recognized name? Last edited by gooder77; 12-22-2003 at 01:33 PM. |

gooder: yep Scorpion/Prodrive WRSport are the same, I am pretty sure Prodrive farms the actual work out to Scorpion.
I have a stealthback w/ the high flow cat and a WRSport. I still have the uppipe cat. Someone driving behind me on the highway yesterday in a caravan said it sounded like the rumble strips. I'll take it as a compliment ![]() -john |
