Talking HKS Hi Power cat back

I just purchased this exhaust and all i have to say is good things. It bolted up very easly and with no complications. The muffler is just huge and intimidating and i like the way it's angled. The exhaust wasn't every expansive atleast where i got it. I got it brand new for $455. The power gains where very good, alot more kick around 3500 to 7000 rpms. i would tell any subbie to get this exhaust. The noise is deep and not to loud at all. If you have any questions on it then just ask me.

I have the HKS carbon T1 i believe its the same just carbon muffler. HKS products are the shizzle that and the HKS BOV sound great together.

I too just got this exhaust about 2 weeks ago and I love the deep intimidating rumble my car makes! I was a little tentative about getting this exhaust because I thought it might be a little too loud and a little too noticeable but the sound is too addicting. I do admit that the exhaust is HUGE but I have a rear lip so that helps hide it.

I didn't notice much gains at first but about a week after the install I really got on the gears and felt the car breathe a whole lot better up top. I can run out the gears much better w/o the car struggling so much. The car is still not a beast in the high rpm range but it is definitely an improvement over stock.

Heres some pix of my car after the install...

thats a cool ass muffler. I just bought a HKS style muffler not too long ago. I didn't get the full cat back though. I'm supposed to be moving to FL in about a month and I don't want to show up broke. I decided to get and engine swap and new rims, and an enjin intake and a couple of other things before I left, but I just added it all up and its gonna cost me a few thousand to do it all and I would show up in Orlando with lent in my pocket. I would have a really cool car, but I don't think my landlord would really care. lol - - - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEBWN%3AIT

All I have to say is, WOW! Great sounding and looking exhaust. I sounds like my freinds car with the Greddy Evo/HKS DP, and I'm still on the stock DP.

Totoal time (45 min on a lift) to install including making gaskets (didn't come with it because it was used)

Pics a video to follow.

03WREX what type of body kit do you have? I have the same exhaust and the back bumper looks good. Thanks for the info.

I just put on the carbon ti and love the sound and looks. can't wait to put a downpipe and header on to see how much that chages the sound.

I put my Hi Power on roughly a year ago now. Easy as pie to install. Excellent quality. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a loud exhaust.

To be honest, now that I have a catless uppipe and downpipe on my car, it is too loud. Car alarms chirp when I drive by and cops are now paying me a bit too much attention.

I loved it with all three cats but with just one, it is too much. I am thinking about flipping all the way to the other side and going to the Greddy Evo.

i am catless all the way back, it isn't too loud for me, even my wife can stand it. i am gonna dynamat my car this week though, so that should help. i went from keeping the radio at 4 to keeping it at 6, so not too bad...it sounds freaking mean as hell. i need a high flow cat though, i don't any cops will let a 2 foot blue flame shooting out the back slide went on real easy, top notch quality, i highly reccomend it
