Default Advice on grinding rear door speaker cut-outs

Was wondering if any of you guys can offer advice on grinding the door metal for the rears. I bought the Infinity Kappa 5.25s and they just barely dont fit. I have a Dremel, and bits but have never done any grinding. Any help would be a blessing. Thanks

Sell the speakers and don't worry about it unless you will be sitting in the back a lot.
If you must chop up your doors, do it slowly so you don't take off too much. A cutting oil can help keep the dust down and help with the grinding. Be sure not to leave the metal dust/pieces in the door, because the will rust and leach brownish color if you leave it.

are they separates or coax's?

it they are coax (tweeter mounted in the middle), they won't fit anyway due to the tweeter sticking out to far and hitting the door panel. not only will you have to trim the hole out for the speaker, you will also have to reverse mount them (mounted from the inside of the door versus the outside).

it sounds like a pia, but it really isn't that bad. i guess it really depends on how determined you are, and whether or not you want to cut on your car.

If I reverse mount them, will I have clearance to roll down the window?

oh yeah, plenty of room, as the window only goes down about half way.
