Default subaru to VW

just interested if anyone had or personally knows some one who has put a 2.0 or 2.5 turbo subaru into a bettle? I know that it has been done but info seems to be fairly scant. Also would like to use a subaru transaxle rather than a adapter plate. any info on that would also be greatly appreciated.

Default Subaru to VW Swap

I'm currently working on swapping a '02 U.S. WRX motor into a Vw Notchback. It's very possible to do it in a bug as well...just a little tighter fit. If you aren't too partial about staying with a Subaru motor, you could swap a Mazda 13b turbo rotary and make plenty of power as well. Email me at conoval21@mail if you have any questions.

I have used kennedy adapterplates before. Thay are exellent quality. I am wanting to use the subaru transaxle but still need to mount the engine/transaxle as per the VW, ie the axles need to spin the other way. If anyone has any info on or leads on who or how this can be done please email me at curnuck2@msn.com
