Default greddy bov won't fit? sti mount different from regular wrx mount?

I got my greddy type s bov today and tried installing it but it won't fit, click here to see it

The pics are the stock one next to the greddy bov. Do I need to get a different mount?

Do I just plug the big hose up with something if I want atmospheric?

Why doesn't it fit. What's it hitting?
And no, never plug the big hole or the bottom nipple. Just leave it open and it will vent atmos.

If it's hitting your rocker vents (the silver metal tubes that are attaced to the intercooler) Looses the bolts on the tubes, install the bov, then tighten the bolts for the vent line as best you can.

I'm not talking about the big hole on the bov but the big hole on the hose. I leave the big hole open on the bov but plug the big holed hose, right?

Ya that's right. It doesn't have to be fancy, just make sure that whatever you plug it with can withstand the small amount of pressure that builds up in there.

My GReddy BOV fits like caca.

I have to move some lines to get it to fit... but I love it!

I emailed the guy who sold it to me and he says he used it on his wrx and that it fit perfectly. He wrote that he used it on his stock intercooler and an aps intercooler. This guy is full of it

So I shouldn't cap the small angled nipple? What is it for anyway? Mine was capped when I got it secondhand.

No that second nipple makes the telltale greddy wistle after it releases.

There are two types of flanges out there for the wrx. One is from greddy and the second is a aftermarket flange. The one in the picture above is the aftermarket flange. Both have fitment issues though.

You can just order another flange. Not sure of the price but it shouldn't be that expensive. I also have the greddy bov.
