Talking Impreza WRX Festival

Coinciding with the FAI Rally of Canberra (Australia), the Impreza WRX festival drew more than 300 Impreza WRXs to the national capital, Canberra in early May 2000.

On the Sunday a photo of over 200 WRXs was taken from a helicopter. For those interested in seeing pictures (and a few stories) go to:
http://redrival.com/timcook/impreza/roc-2000/

There are more links for the page to other photos and reports.

The festival was organsied by Subaru Australia and the 6 WRX Clubs in Australia all joined in. It was great weekend.

Maybe the Americans can try and start up the same thing with the RS (and while you have Subaru there demand the turbo charged WRX).

Regards
Michael Hains

The New South Wales Club only a few months ago drove (read had lots of fun) across the Bells line of Roads - fantastic road for the WRX. Can't wait until we go to Bathurst shortly - again 60 plus WRXs driving across - wooohooo. All in the name of charity and we get to carve up the grass in a nice safe paddock. For pictures of last years day and reports see:

Wink

The 22B can now be road registered in Australia. Yours can now join the others on the road - a sourse of much envy.
