Default Sears Gift card question?

One of my gifts yesterday was a $100 gift card to Sears. I can't think of a damn thing to use it on there and was wondering if I could just go there and get the cash for it??

I bought a king size bed on tuesday and would like to use that money to buy some sheets for the bed.

Anybody know policy in this???

A Bananna for your comments!

Sears sells damn near everything. If they don't have it, they can order it, and they price match with every other store.

Go be a man and buy some tools

I used to work at Sears. They have sheets. They usually have lots of good sales on them too. I'm sure you can find SOMETHING to spend $100 on.

You cannot get cash for the card. Unfortunately there's no way around that rule. And you have to use it until it's gone. Even if there's like .01 cent on it, they won't give you a penny. Sorry...

Sears must have sheets. Plus Craftsman tools are pretty good and an excellent value.

Seriously.....get some damn tools! Craftsman.......and if anything ever EVER go's wrong you can get a new one for free! My grandpa had a 20 year old paint sprayer that was all F-ed up and they replaced it free.

Good ol sears.

eh not everything is warrantied.... The person who replaced that paintsprayer was a dumbass, as air tools and alot of like tools you have to buy a warranty. The only tools that are warrantied are tools that really hard to break with few moving parts, like ratchers, screw drivers etc. but yes, my garage is stocked with everything from a craftsman air compressor to profressional air tools to ratchets to jacks to a creeper etc.

Sears has sheets.... buy a high thread count, or jersey knit, the ladies love it.

OK, I found the bedding there. Not much of a selection but I believe I bought the best there.

I bought 250 Thread Count Egyptian cotten sheets and they are soft as hell. I heard these are the best you can buy. I would of preferred a higher thread count (300+) but they had 250 and that was it.

250 is ok... I used to work in a sheet store as a part time job... the nice ones start at 300TC, but it all depends on the type of cotton and the style. if you want really soft, inexpensive sheets, get 300TC 100% supima cotton Sateen...

my mom got 800 thread count sheets and comforter for christmas yesterday... on the other side of the spectrum, mine came from Walmart and it's basically canvas.
