Default AT -> MT Gauge Cluster Swap

Looked around the forum and couldn't locate any info on this topic. Can a AT gauge cluster be swapped into a MT gauge cluster?

maybe its a dumb question? just curious about wiring/electronic issues. I can't see any problems arising as far as speed readout, or RPM issues.

The gauge clusters are fundamentally identical with the exception of, perhaps, the AT display.
