Post Body Kits!

i'm at my buddy's shop right now, Andy's AutoSport. He' really interested in making kits for us. Of course he wants to see a demand out there. i have encouraged him that there is. The questions are: What do you all want to see on the kits??? Please send pics or sketches via PM.

most of andy's stuff is fiberglass. he can do carbon fiber, but it'll cost way more than the fiberglass. check out his web site and see how inexpesive the kits are.
andysautosport.com
so far the feedback:
front lips
flared fenders
hood mods
front bumper mods
spoiler mods
side skirts

would anyone car to have the hood, scoop and vents integrated into one, functional piece?

he does make some of that shogun style crap, but that is what the honda crowd wants. we, can tool around with having some tighter angles. where would you suggest these angles be?

Your buddy's shop is Andy's Autosport! I love their kits. All he has to do is make a kit that looks good and he can expect plenty of purchases because their is a market for us. See if he can make fender flares for a good price. If he did that he would sell crazy amounts of them.

Just do a search for the post about the WRX that was in the UK Max Power mag. It had a really nice fender flare kit. The front bumper and hood weren't bad either.

How about a replica P1 front lip spoiler. To fit the Canadian bumper if possible. If it fits the US bumper, I'll have that as well.

ok ok ok, 22b replica parts and p1. got it. i'll keep passing the info along. it all comes down to (of course) getting the originals to make replicas. right now, he's making a few changes to hood vents, hoods, and my 99 front bumper.

keep the suggestions coming!

A full kit requires a lot of painting, so I'd want something that integrates flared fenders.

I'm with everyone else...

A nice rounded, angular lip with the lower fascia would be nice. Something like the GREDDY only less of a plow (sorry GREDDY owners).

If you were going to make a kit, I would blend the STi with the C-West. The C-West uses the right style but the STi doesn't overdo it like the C-West. Plus, I love the STi front fascia with the 3-pronged bolt on foglight covers.

But what I really want is a replica of the SYMS wing. Now that is a really nice wing...

How 'bout something similar to this:

Not too flashy, but looks different enough from stock.

If Andy is going to make kits for Subes, I hope the quality is much better. I had an Andy Combat front bumper, and it cracked on the first day it was installed on my old car. The thing was transparent when I got it. Looked more like an eggshell than fiberglass.

I'd love to see a Legacy GT style hood, without the vents, and with a much sleeker looking hood scoop than the RS. That, a good looking grill, and a copy of the SYMS wing would make me happy
