Question TurboXS RFL BOV from FastWrx.com

I ordered a TurboXS RFL BOV kit from fastwrx.com, and asked them prior to buying it if it would fit a 2004 WRX STi. They replied that it would, so I went ahead and got it. Well, when it comes down to installing it, it appears that the flange is completely different than what is supposed to fit, and I took it down to a local shop to confirm, and he said that it would not fit because of the circle flange design, when the Subaru 2.5 is more of a triangle. Any feedback?

Did you order a TXS RFL BOV adapter for WRX (and STi), too?

The adapter is triangular on one end, and tubular on the other. The triangluar end attaches to the intercoolor, and the tubular one, to the BOV.

It fits perfectly.

Thanks for the replies guys. Appearantly they sent me the wrong Adapter Kit, so they are replacing it. How do you guys like the RFL on your STi/WRX?

I've always had problems with the RFL on my 02 WRX, sometimes the car would stall at the light. So I got a regular type h bov instead from turboxs and it works great, I'm now using it on my STi, love it.

It sounds amazing and very aggressive (I loved it), but it does make the car run even richer than it already is. Also, the accel on/off sensitivity increases quite a bit. I am back to the stock for the time being but will be back on it once I have Godspeed's Stage 1+ installed on my car. Hopefully, Dan (@ Godspeed) can finetune the A/F mix using eManage for me so that I don't have to run so rich..
