Have a Nice Day?

I just saw it myself. Hope he's ok, and those damned spectators get off of the road. That's nothing but trouble for everyone.

Looks like Colin is OK.
Side-note: How unimpressive is Loix? Crashed out in turn three of the first stage. How does this guy keep getting rides? Anybody know his history, 'cause he must have built a good reputation. Since I've been following rally all he ever does is crash or lose badly.

Freddy Loix is an excellent driver. After his roll in Safari 99' he came back flyn'.
Hes one of the best talents on the WRC,
his Tarmac driving skills are top notch,
hes a very well rounded driver

i wish it was still true chris but it isn't. He was a real talent but the current state of afairs is not good for him.

Maybe he needs to step down a gear to re-coup, that has worked for other drivers in the past.

Loix had a very, very bad accident in a mitsubishi early last year. They have stuck with him so far to help him recover. An act that is commendable but i think its plain to see he is no longer capable of producing the goods.

I think this season will be his last sadly, he has not recovered from an acident that could easily have killed him, great shame.

Colin has a broken cheek bone and bruised lungs. Cheekbone injuries are very dificult to repair, basically there is little that can be done except let time take its course.

I hope the lungs injury is just minor. Fingers crossed for him.

I wonder if colin will adopt a full face helmet now he has recieved an injury that may have been avoided had he not worn an open face helmet.
