Hey Opie, thanks for keeping track of that list.

I'm staying at the Inn Cheraw. All y'all are welcome to come find me during parc expose. 8-9am on Saturday morning in town.

Of course, you're also welcome to come say hello at service, but I may be busy/exhausted.

TWC had improved the forecast and said it will be clear on Saturday. Tomorrow will be the messy day from the looks of it.

If anyone is coming up from GA (Near Savannah) that I could catch a ride with I would still be able to make it... I'm in Beaufort, SC... I'd still love to go but can't afford to drive up there and pay for my hotel room and buy food... I can do two of them... If there is anyone that will be coming up I-95 that would give me a ride there and back, that would be great... Thanks

WOOHOO!
I'm the first to post AFTER the rally. nhluhr, biggly, iceman, and I all just watched the footage we took. most is movie-worthy but there is of course edit-outable stuff. it'll take a little while to make our video but it is in the works. it'll even include some dangerous wildlife. I'll post it when it's ready, of course.

That's because I didn't want to post until I had all of my stuff up on the site.

I decided to go ahead and work on the stuff tonight that I wanted to have online. I'll put some of the highlights in this thread here in the next post.

For now, the pictures are HERE

Despite the overly cautious safety officials with NASA and being REALLY restricted on where we could spectate from it wasn't as great as in some past years. Still fun though!

Fred and I ended up working stages 1,4 and 6!
We had a great view from stage 4 with the cars going through the water. Stage 6 was a good location too!
Stage 1 we wrote down times and took pictures for Anders.

Martel worked the same stages with us and Matt in Fl worked stage 6 with us.

The only bad thing about working is we didn't get to hang out with the the subaru people very much.

Fred will post pictures later. I thinke he took close to 300 pictures.

I worked the start for Stages 2, 5 and 7... I started Every Single Car that ran those Stages... What a Blast!!!! I only saw a few of the guys from here though... Saw Timmy, and Fred and his "wyfe" but everyone else I missed... But let me tell ya, Starting can get a little hectic but it is all worth it when you hold your hand out and count 'em down 5............4............3..........2.........1.. .......GO GO GO!!!!!! Right about the time you get to 5 they kick the Anti-Lag system into play and the Turbo really spools up... Had to end up shaking sand off me a few times after the I launched the EVO's... They throw sand everywhere~!!!!!!! Well Wish I could have hung out there with the rest of the guys that were drinking beer and sitting in chairs watching the cars go by but I honestly thought that everyone that was going was volunteering as well... oh well, there's still the dragon...
