Anyone know what the final drive is on '99 Legacy/OB 4EAT?

Like the title says, I'm trying to figure out what the stock final drive ratio is for my 1999 4EAT Legacy Outback. I need to know whether or not I need a new rear diff for my tranny swap.

have you looked in your owner's manual? Should be in there. That info was in my owner's manual

It definately doesn't say in my owner's manual... I checked the index and the whole specifications chapter.

I have searched and found info on Imprezas and MT Outbacks but I can't find anything about my car.

i think your car will be either a 4.44 or a 4.11
