Default JDM ej20 tune up Q/A

I'm about to drop my ej20 into my 99 2.5rs and i would like to change the spark plugs and wires. Since i have a JDM ej20 i would like to know where can i find spark plug wires for this motor or any other applications that can fit? I know that the USDM Ej20 have direct coil-plug applications, so that is out of the question. Does anybody know where can i find spark plug wires? Please let me know thank you very much

The motor is a 1999 Ej207, i thought the spark plug are interchangable with the USDM GD application? Do you know the part # to the magnacore wires? Thanks

Default Give Up!

Hey Sprite. I've seen your post on wiring and harnesses and now to tune up products. You know what bro? Seems like your clueless. I suggest you to just give it all up and bring it to a real shop who knows what they are doing. Just like the whole planet has been telling you, this swap takes days to years to finish and dont forget about the 4 years of wiring on your spare time. Bring it to a shop who has done it before and shell out the $2500 labor charge. Less headaches!!!! So what if you lost a arm and a leg. At least you dont have to sit there at your computer day and night posting questions and researching for answers which selfish subaru owners wont help you with. Face it! Your next post should be "Who wants to ripp me a new A**Hole and fix my subaru?"

haha, he is right, if you have little to no experience with a motor swap then you should have a shop do it.

Hey Ryceracerx, where are you located? I might consider bringing my car to a shop if i can locate one that installs subaru swaps in the NYC area. If anyone knows of a reputable shop please let me know. Maybe this way i can save myself some headaches down the road.

God that is some ugly trim dustin! My car had that stuff too, for about a week that is . You can find all the pieces in a junk yard for about 20 bux to convert it to black trim.
