Post a civic owners thought of the MY02 STi WRX

and i quote from a diff msg board
"If anyone knows anything about body kits for civics and you compare a civic fitted with Feels Kit side peices to the sides of new impreza above you could plainly see that Subaru 'borrowed' some styling cues from the kit"
this is the kinda stuff that gets under my skin........

Even though I don't love the new body style, and I like(actually, LIKED) civics, where do they get that from?

that quote actualy came from a RC car forum where they request new bodies for the RC cars, some one requested the new 2002 STi WRX. I posted a pic for the kid so people had an idea what it looked like.

Well the '02 WRX fenders look like they were taken straight off a first generation Acura Legend (87-90, at least 5 yrs before the '02 design process began), so the comment has a little merit.

Imprezer, lock this thread and kick this guy out. I'm sure this guy is going to do similar s*** on this site as he/she/it did on the clubsi site.

We don't want people of this intelligence level on this board. I'm betting clubsi is thinking the same..

WTF
all subarus nowadays have fenders kinda like that, the 2002 impreza is just taking it to the next extreme, hell hasnt anyone ever seen a forester before, or even an SVX, or a 22B, or the 555 car, hell even look at the current impreza after a good wax job the fender looks like a very, very watered down vresion of what the 2002 puts out, the fender thing has been a subaru thing for a while, and now subaru is taking it to the next level thats all (a little to far if u ask me, but whatever.....)to me its just aprt of suabru's unique styling, that comment shoulnt even be debatable
