Default Hard Bed Cover found on eBay - Opinions

eBay Auction

I found this cover on eBay and was wondering what you other Baja owners thought of it. It looks pretty nice and well thought out. I'm thinking this guy deserves our encouragement.

I think its great that he's built something on his own, always like to see that. However i wouldn't want that on my Baja.

I like how he says, "You also have to put holes in the bed to install thiers, hard on resale."

I would think having the snugtop or even the softtop style one would be a selling point as opposed to "hard on resale."

looks like plywood wood with a vinyl covering over it...

And you wouldn't have to pay $25 for shipping

I feel the same way. If you look at one of the pictures from the rear you can see the wood. Still, you got admit he had and ideal and is trying to make something of it. I'm sure a lot of creative Baja owners will see this and try something close to it. Heck, what if you could put one together and make a fiberglass mold from it? I could lead some where.
