Just thought I would share this with you guys.

I know who that guy is..

that car was just stolen the other month and recovered in slighly lessend condition from what I heard..
26 miles away and out of gas.

he's got 2 of them..
a red and white one he uses for hill climbs.

we were thinking that the person/s that stole it didn't really realize what it was.. think they thought it was a modded mirage or something..

Active Yaw Control, tasty.

$26,500 isn't cheap for a race-only car with no trailer and no spares.

Unhappy

"active yaw control" means NO POWERSLIDES!!!
And that defies the whole purpose of driving a rally car...
Keep your subies slideways!!!

The WRC cars use AYC, and they powerslide.

What exactly did you say or ask? I'm sure a car like that is going to get more than its fair share of "tire kickers" with no intent or means to purchase it.

Strange. I gave the guy a call today and he was pretty cool. We talked about the Evo and about unobtainable JDM cars in general. He was pretty knowledgable and gave me some good advice regarding building rally cars.

I think he's been getting deluged by callers so maybe he's just fed up...

The owner used to hang out (dunno if he still does) on the STi Digest. He was kinda cool, but definitely spoke as if he knew everything (though he probably did). Back in '98 he was planning to bring over a full Cusco exhaust kit (headers-muffler, some other stuff) for the 2.5L that would have bumped it up to around 200hp. Wonder what ever became of it...

Don't forget that he took 2nd in SSGT2 at the '98 OneLap in that near-stock 2.5RS.
