This car is immaculate. CarFax will show two accidents, one of them severe. Both were repaired. The severe accident was a front-end collision. Bachman Chevrolet's (Louisville, KY) body shop completely replaced the front end of the car, firewall forward. It is in better shape now, with better paint, than it was new.
Car was switched to synthetic at 1000 miles: engine, transmission, and rear differential. Fluids changed at recommended intervals or sooner. All maintenance records are available online.
Mobil1 10w30 engine oil
Always used Subaru filters
New NGK Cold copper plugs installed at 25,000 miles. Just checked them, they're still in spec. There are four new, uninstalled plugs included with the car.
Valvoline Syntech 75w90 in gearbox and differential.
Brake Fluid is Motul 600 synthetic
Car got new cam timing belts at 45,000 miles
Car has been garage kept the whole time I've owned it.
Car is a 2003 Kentucky Region STX Champion
Car has gone 8.741 @ 79.65 at Ohio Valley
Car exhibits typical Subaru 5MT 2-1 downshift difficulty (can't do it while car is moving without double-clutching). Car has been exhibiting that symptom since new, Subaru denied warranty claim on it. No other mechanical issues.
