Default can anyone confirm or deny that margarine is one molecule away from plastic?

apparently if you leave margarine out in the wild no animal will touch it, mold won't grow on it, and it has no nutrional value

I'm no chemical engineering or food development major but I believe all of those statements are true, with the exception of roaches and people on Fear Factor. They'll eat anything.

a 1/5th of my daily fat intake doesn't leave me room for my fast food diet, after one meal, i'd be maxed out

So what if it is???

Fluorine is one ELECTRON away from oxygen!!!
As we all know, oxygen = teh gooood, whereas a single whiff of flourine can mess you up pretty bad.

But, somehow, the fact they are only an electron away from each other doesn't seem to effect our species much, eh?

You have much more cause to be worried about our economy; that is MUCH more frightening and real.

it's not "plastic" so much as an polymer-emulsified fatty product. So is peanut butter. Big whoop.

Good and true Flourine story for you here.

No names will be mentioned to protect the stupid.

Once, there was a place where they test some stuff. There was fire station just below the hill from this place. There was a flourine release, a big one. People started coughing and getting that burning sensation in the mucous membranes so everyone was evaced. This stupid person in charge comes up and says,"We had a flourine release, but it's okay, it's good for your teeth." True story.

Flourine seeks moisture. Flourine turns into hydroflouric acid when mixed with water.
