Cool...but why didn't they just call it STi? SPT is OK with me but only if they start offering that supercharger from the prototype brat!

I don't know about you guys, but I'll take ANY sign from SOA & SOC that they're bringing "performance" back to the word "Impreza." This can only be seen as a positive sign that our late night turbo-lusting fantasies may soon be realized! =)

Other than the tower brace and muffler, nuthin' but cosmetic BS. Crikey...don't they know what "performance" means to car enthusiasts? I don't SPT decals! I don't want carbon fiber stickers!

Thanks for the info....but SOA has to realize we're not into decals and carbon fiber stickers.

What they should have :
WRX springs
WRX shocks
WRX exhaust
Turbo? Forget it - they're supposed to bring one in for the new model.

for the "performance look"

WRX seats
WRX fog light covers
WRX rear wing

I'd like to see a center diff with something other than 50/50 torque split. 30/70 would be nice.

I wonder if the performance muffler is the same Brosal built offering as before or something new. Wasn't the first performance muffler offering the same dia. piping as stock? Anyone know yet what the diameter of this new midpipe is?

Snoopy,

You hit it right on the nose!! If this is supposed to be Subaru PERFORMANCE TUNING, they should have at least some worthwhile parts like, Sti Shocks and sti springs, to actually say that they MEAN performance. I wouldn't even mind an Sti mudflap. I don't want rice... I mean carbon fibre interior stuff and stickers!!

And.. Isn't that diff protector used on every single current make and model that Subaru has right now??

Even the car stereo place down the street from me carries intakes, strut bars, and recaro seats too. Why can't SOA "throw us a frickin bone people....OK?"

Angry

Someone at Subaru needs to take a look at our rather large group of performance oriented owners!!! They need to realize that some crummy fancy "rice-boy" crap won't ever keep the real owners happy...
