Default utec on jdm motor

hey everyone,
i'm going to soon swap in an '03 JDM WRX engine, non-STi. i'm wondering if it possible to tune it using a UTEC being that the JDM EJ205's are different then the USDM EJ205's from the ECU to the cams to the variable intake valve timing heads to the running on higher octane gas?
if a UTEC is no possible to use, what other direction should i be looking in to tune correctly?
thanks!

I think you should be able to use usdm ecu if you want to use UTEC.

Hit up Kingpin or AZscoobie on these forums. Mike and Clark have tuned a bunch of JDM swaps and can set you up with an ECUTEK tune for you mods.. We are trying to get them out here in early to mid spring for another dyno day(search for tri state dyno day in PPB forums) in which you can have your existing map tuned on the dyno, since you are right here in jersey.. THey have tuned A LOT of JDM swaps and know there way around the JDM ecu like no other so definetly get into contact with them..

We have a UTEC that works for JDM ECUs. You simply need to mention that when you order your UTEC. Your best bet is to talk to Phil or Nathan.
