Just bought a used Titleist 975L-FE driver. I got it used for 130 and it is in great condition. I usually wont buy a club with out trying it but it was a great deal and I really liked my 975D.
Its snowing right now, so I cant try it out. Does anyone else own this driver? And if so, what do ya think. I think it will be a great! |

were u aware that the LFE promotes a certain type of shot when u bought it? I think this is the one that promotes a fade, but I could be wrong.
I woulda just gone with the J. my $.02 |

Clubs do promote different style of shots. I belive the LFE keep the ball lower than the J. Its a good club, Titleist makes some great stuff. Ihaveplayed so many different drivers mainly because I got them from companies while I was down at school. Titleist 983K, 500 series, Launcher, yeah the whole lot. Out of my assesment TaylorMade works best for me, but it may not work best for you.
If you hit this club and dont like the ball flight try something else. The key to finding a club that is good for you is to find one with the proper loft, a shaft with the right length, flex and kick point. Grips often get over looked. A small grip can speed up your hands helping to turn the ball over right to left, and abig grip does the opposite. It will slow them down. Finding the right combos is the key. Talk to you local club fitter and they can help you out. My driver is this. R500 Series 10.5 degrees of loft Rifle 6.0 measuring 43.75 inches long. Standard rubber grip with 4 wraps of tape under it. Remember the longer the driver doesnt always equate to more distance. I have more control with a shorter driver, and I still hit it right at 300yrds. Joe |

The best deals on clubs used to be the clubs from chipshot.com... until they went out of buisness.

For some reason I just hate Titleist drivers.
Everyone is like "yeah I gained 30 yards with the 983 blah blah blah".... I lose about 25 yards with any Tiltleist driver, and believe me I've tried a lot of them. I always get suckered into buying them cause they looks so good but it's always a disapointment. I've been using a Cleveland Launcher 400 with 8 degrees of loft for the last 8-9 months and I really like it. I had a Fujikura 661 in the last one, the one I'm using now has a Aldila NV X-flex, both 44 inches. |
