Talking This Made Me Laugh Today....

I finally get around to opening up my mail from Chicago and my ComEd bill was $0.45 since I overpaid last time.

Thanks ComEd for making me laugh on a crappy day...

It's gonna cost me more than the $0.45 to mail it with the cost of the stamp, gas and wear on my car.

Send them a check for $0.44

Or see if they will take credit card payment. The fee for them to process your card will be more than the payment itself.

Check their fee structure; a friend got a bill like that once after he moved & just left it unpaid until it was over a buck (about 6 months IIRC) - their late fee was based on a % of the bill.

Or be creative and send a $0.44 check with a penny taped to it.

I had the same thing...
I owed $0 this month...
When I looked at the kilowatts used though they made an error in reading... so that might be why I got free month...

I thought their late fee's were just a flat rate?

I had Verizon send me a cell phone bill for .07. I mailed them 7 pennies taped to a piece of paper. What abunch of buttholes.
