Lightbulb quitters support group

I think with help of others, you can quit anything you want. Group help is key imho. If there is something you want to quit, start, or acheive, post about it, and as a group we can help you reach it, at least hold you accountable.

I want to start exercising. My goal is at min 2 times a week, perfered 4 times a week. I'll start tomorrow. Who else needs help quitting or starting, etc.

Yep. My goal is to start excercising 4 times a week. I'd like to do it everyday, but it's just not very feasable with my schedule. So I'll be happy if I can make it to the gym 3-4 times a week.

Although I think I'm gonna start when I can go in before work. It's so snowy here that I have to leave 45 min earlier than normal to make it on time. So when the snow melts (Prolly by the end of the week), that's when I'm starting.

I think this is a great idea. Although, I don't need to quit or start anything, so to speak, I will happily encourage folks who need need a little support.

AO and Scubiedoo- I work out pretty religiously (run 9-10 miles/6-7 days a week.) So, I'm going to be on you on this one! Consider yourself accountable to me. And, I realize I haven't any authority, but you get the point!! What sort of exercising are you starting?

I'm going to start with cardio. But, the goal is to re-read fit for life, and get on track. Drop about 20 or so, depending on how much muscle, and how fit I get.
Just to start, 1/2 hr of cardio, bike, tread mill, etc.

2 days a week to work out? You'll see results over years, not months or weeks. At least 3 days a week. Even better is 6 or 7 of at least 30 minutes of cardio. You may have to work up to it, but 2 days will see you working up to it for a year and a half.

get a boob implant and start taking some estrogen supplements

That should help you achieve your 100% PCEness

I want to quit smoking... and start exercising, but I don't know which I want to do first. I'm pretty fit aside from a patch of fat around the mid section. I guess I just want to exercise to get cut and hotness will ensue.

Day one of exercise has not started yet. It should start tomorrow, but may end up starting Monday. Day 4 of the diet is going quite well. I've lost 2.5 pounds - so really, I may start working out after I hit a "plateau" of losing weight with diet only.

wow -- I'm a quitter before I even start.
