Pros & Cons: Bringing GF to car meets

I've been trying to list the pros and cons of inviting my girl out to my Thursday night suby meets, because frankly, I don't like kicking her out every Thursday night to go hang out w/ the guys.

Pro: Shows her that I'm not excluding her from anything specific in my life.

Con: Shows her I've been ditching her to go stand around in a parking lot all this time.

Pro: She could pass the time talking to people she shares common intrests w/.

Con: There's no one there she has anything in common w/ ('cept maybe me)

Pro: She has bewbs.

Con: She has bewbs.

Pro: The other guys will have proof that I'm cool enough to get a girl to like me.

Con: The other guys might hit on her.

Pro: She might learn a thing or two about Subies and get interested.

Con: More realistically, she doesn't give a damn about Subies.

Pro: I get to spend more time w/ my GF.

Con: She may want to come every week.

Pro: She might breathe new life into the meets.

Con: The chauvinistic, misogynistic WAPCE jokes would die.

Ask her if she wants to go. If yes, then take her once to check it out and you'll have your answer. If no, problem solved. NEXT!

Good advice here. You know what'll happen when she realizes that car meets are full of hoochies don't you?

What you do is what you do. You don't have to do everything with her.

I made my wife sit around and watch the WRC and F1 with me one night. Bored her to tears. Now she won't go anywhere car related with me and I like it that way.

my ex girlfriend enjoyed the meets alot, despite the fact she knew nothing about cars. if she wants to go, take her.

Besides it will give all the geeks something to gawk at. Unless shes a bush pig and not even Stevie Wonder would look at her.

That show was on two nights ago too.

Well if it works out like it did in that episode, she'll be so annoyed by your friends, she won't want to come back, and you're scott free.

I try to make a first date car related.. that way I can see if the guy can take me being a car chick.. and see if he can deal with me having a lot of guy friends.

You would probably scare me away.

I enjoy that my wife doesn't enjoy cars because it gives me something that is just mine and it gives me something to do alone occationally.

yea.. I know how that is.. the last date I went on wasn't with a car guy.. so I'm hoping that things work out with him.. that way I can have some 'me' time.

If you leave her at home it will (1) show her you have a life - you're independant and not whipped (2) give her time to do her own thing and (3) not bore her to death.

i have ONLY guy friends! i'm a computer programmer, and i like to play video games. and just semi-recently i got into cars. so umm, i dont even KNOW any girls except other guys' girlfriends

When I was in Cabo with my wife she gave me the idea to take an upskirt photo of some chick in a club called "El Squid Row" so I did.

Turns out she had one of the pairs of shorts on that just looks like a skirt so the photo sucked
