Thumbs up Saw my new RS again--everything's installed now!

Hot damn, does it look good!

They put the performance gauge pack in, the security system... the sunroof deflector, and the performance exhaust. That exhaust tip is larger than I'd like it to be, but oh well. I know some people here said it's not that great an exhaust, I'll see what happens.

Drove up and stared at it the other night...
Hopefully, a week from today I'll be picking it up. Couple good bites on the Acura, and my newspaper ad starts today. I'm awaiting phone calls... VERY anxiously.

And the dealer just called a minute ago...

"You HAVE to pick it up by the 31st, I'm losing incentives!!!"

Jeez buddy, take a pill. No pressure or anything....

Imprezive - are you gonna buy one of our cars or a new one? I'm definitely selling mine if the WRX turbo comes here, contingent on how I like the new shell.

Well, I am counting the days, so you must be going nuts. You can make an autocross event, and meet most of us New Englanders! The new car smell, how I miss it..
Did you get the stitched leather from the factory, w/the red stitching and logo on the seats? I won't say what I think until I know your answer..

Hey Siper!

I got my 2000RS 3 weeks ago.. Already have 1100mi on it.. Of all the options I ordered, I got only one!! The carpeted floor mats... Geez.. The dealer, of course, adjusted the price to reflect these changes to my order. It came out to approximately 20k with tax/licensing/transit fees.. I'm trying to get a strut brace first off.. Maybe I'll ask SPD..

Yes I am indeed going quite batty!!!! I'm so anxious it's just nuts.

The leather I got is aftermarket, produced by Katzkin I think, and supplied by a Massachusetts place called Custom Soft Trim or something like that. They had a zillion color choices, I went with a light gray that makes for a VERY cool contrast with the dark interior!! It looks good through the window, hope I end up really liking it.

I heard good and bad things about the factory leather, but for me I just didn't want black or anything too dark.

I fully intend to autocross it, just not for a couple of months. Gonna do the baby-the-new-car thing for a while.

The anxiety is almost as great as the anxiety I have for tomorrow... I'm seeing my girlfriend for the first time in almost two months, we don't see each other often. She's in her third of 10 tri-mesters at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. She loves it, but it's very stressful.
It's a great program and an excellent school,
she'll graduate with a full Doctor of Chiropractic. Intense studies, man, I'd never make it...
