Angry Mixed up RS orders.

After reading alot of this boards posts about shady dealers I got alittle nervous. So on Saturday I went to the dealership after hours to see if it was there (it was due in May 12 or the 19th). I didn't see it however, all the way in the back I saw what looked like my car I ordered. It was too far away to get a good look. So today I went back and got a closer look. It had everything I ordered, with the exception It had the WRONG gauge package in it.

The dealer said my car didn't come in yet. I told him my car was in the back of the lot. He said it had the wrong guages in it and mine was still on the way. So I insisted for 30 minutes that the car was mine and subaru made a mistake with the guage package. They checked the VIN's and they matched. I was right, I wonder how long it would of taken somebody to realize that, that was my car.

Not-to-mention, the aftermarket leather I ordered was messed up. I asked for "2.5 RS" on all 4 seats. Instead Katzan put 2.5 on the front and RS on the back.

lately i've been wandering if anybody is using that space between their ears. Lets hope they don't mess up my tint. That would put me over the edge. Now i just have to wait for the guages to come in and Katzan to make my leathers again.

And I was hoping for a trouble free buying exprerience.

LOL good luck... when I went to buy mine they told me that it'd take 3 months til I could get the guage package since it was on so far of a backorder, so I never got it. To this day I still wonder what guages are actually on there to begin with... LOL

Well, They told me it would be 10-16 weeks for my car to arrive. It actually took 5 weeks!! You can imagine my surprise. However, It arrived with NO options on it! So, I had to wait an additional week until I could take it home. Now (4 weeks later) it is going back in the shop to get the armrest extension! That was the only thing they couldnt get. Boy am I glad the guage pack came in on time. I would rather live without the armrest for a while than the guages.

Sounds about right with them screwing up your order. I got a bunch of options I didn't order. Luckily the owner gave them to me at no charge. It is odd that they didn't realize that one was yours? You would think that they look at the VIN's when they arrive. Now I understand how come they don't post info about the new turbo. They aren't sure themselves.

Yep, I know the feeling. My car also showed up with the standard gauge pack instead of the performance one. My dealer is pretty cool though. They are swaping it out for just the cost difference and they are eating the labor. Good luck with yours....

I don't know but now they will have another one of those weird guages. My guage pack comes in tomarrow (hopefully). then tint, alarm, leather next week, and all ready for my vacation. I can't Wait.

and as for the price difference between the two. Well I hope they forget about it since they forgot about everything else. Dumbasses.
