Default Turbo upgrade: What do you guys think?

Hey guys.

I have decided that i want to do a turbo upgrade on my 2005 STI.

I have decided on a Blouch tdo6 (or tdo5??) 20G. Im looking to get upwards of 350+ at the wheels so im thinking that turbo is best suited for that.

Im not sure which injectors im going to go with yet. What would be my best bet?? 740cc is the size i know i need but im not sure which company.

The stock TMIC should do fine i think. From what i have read it is able to handle a 20G without problems.

I have a walbro fuelpump already on the car so im good on that.

Lastly im going get an APS intake and Inlet.

Also im just making sure of this but my internals can handle this size turbo right?
How does all that sound?? Any help would be great.

Since its a 2.5L, go with the TD06 instead of the 05. Stock TMIC is fine. APS inlet will be a pain in the arse to install as you will need to remove your intake manifold for that. If you need some larger injectors, PM me. I've tuned many cars on modified stock injectors, which flow about 816cc.

Even at its maximum, a TD06-20G will barely make 350whp on pump fuel - and a TD05-20G will make even less.

To make 350+whp on pump fuel, you will need to look towards the 52lbs/min turbos or larger - such as the GT52, Dominator 3.0R, ATP3076R, GCG3076R etc. All these turbos can make 350-400whp on pump fuel and 400+whp on meth or using C16 fuel etc.

If you do go a TD06-20G, lower your expectations so you are not disappointed, 320-330whp is about the norm on pump fuel.

If you're looking for 350+ no need to look into a 52 lb/min turbo as that is 400whp on pump gas territory. Look into a 49 lb/min turbo...SZ49, FPGreen, Dominator 2.5R, etc. Also, an exhaust manifold will help you out some so I would consider one.

So would the FPGreen be a better option then?

Yes, however I wouldn't buy **** from FP. Deadbolt and Blouch are indeed viable options.
