Rim and Tire size ?

I just wanted to make sure that i had my head glued on straight and get a second oppinion about these sizes and offset to fit a WRX. I'm thinking about 16x7 rim w/ 48 offset and a 225-45 16 tire. If you're wondering the rims are the Rota Slipstreams. Let me know what you think and thanks for your time.

may i ask why not the 17x7.5 wheels?

Because i'm using them for autx and i wanted a light weight wheel to put slicks on......i have a set of 17x 7.5 rota sub-zeros for summer.

Go with a 225/50R16 instead it will better match your ideal wheel and tire size. Here's a link to a site that goes over the best options. A 48mm offset should be fine...it's a bit low but within exceptable range, there's a great sticky by North Ursalia about offsets at the top of the tire and wheel forum. Check it out.
