Post Airnix to K&N

I have now minnum intake kit which include the blue pipe and attachment for the airnix airfiter. I want to change the airnix to K&N airfilter but I have one problem. That is I can't put the K&N filter with the attachment for Airnix. Please give me an advise.

Do you have a 1999 or a 2000?

I have the Minnam intake tube on my 99 2.5RS, but I am using a K&N cone. I purchased the 300ZX single intake kit from Stillen, which I think was somewhere around $150. This includes the K&N cone and an aluminum adapter with a bolt pattern that perfectly matches the MAF sensor tube on the 99RS. Pretty expensive, but I heard Jim Wolf sells the same thing for less...

If you have a 2000, you don't have a MAF, and I don't know how the filter adapter mounts to the tube with no MAF between.
