Default So I was next to a Ferrari Testarossa

After leaving work today, I roll up next to a Testarossa at the stop light to the highway. I thought it would be fun to toy with him to see what kind of look he'd give me, but a cop rolled up right behind him to spoil the fun. I doubt another opportunity like that will ever come my way.

As per http://www.supercarstats.com/car/exo...starossa.shtml this site it would actually be a close race. Edge to the WRX for easier launching.

On a related note I saw this 1986 dodge aries today and I was all tryin to get him to race me and stuff, and he told me he wouldn't give my piddly RS the time of day.

EDIT: What ever happened to that funnay video about the kid with his dodge aries? That video was pure gold!

Depends on how modded your WRX is... RedGroceryGetter's WRX has been to 150 before... I know because he was chasing me in my SVX on a very long straight stretch of hiway in Georgia... We even have the Digital picture to proove that his speedo was "off the chart"

Yea that's probably true... well I know the ferrari would beat him now because he wrecked the poor REX about two weeks ago... that was after he blew out 1st and 5th gears... Hehehe, that car was a proof of the abuse that a Subaru can take and keep on ticking... Every time I rode with him He drove the hell outta it!!!!

Damn a Testarossa is Miami Vice kind of old school. Back in the day it might have been a supercar but not anymore. Think of it like the old 200hp V8 American cars of its day.

Here's where mind ended while weighted completely down with my personal belongings.

Thanks for the site. It was fun seeing which cars mine is faster than, like most street Ferraris up to the late-'80. I can't believe that I actually have a car that is faster than both Magnum's and Sonny Crocket's!

Your car's weight will not affect top speed (unless you're going up a hill). It's drag limited.

Well, it's going to affect acceleration, straightaways don't last forever. I'm sure I could have gained, maybe, 10 more mph. Plus I was running on tires that were 10 percent smaller than stock (stupid previous owner) So I was probably going about 110 maybe.

That tire size problem probably saved me from a couple tickets, since I always thought I was going 60 in a 55, when I was actually probably going 55 in a 55.

FOr the record, weight has nothing to do with top speed on a flat road.
