Default Clutch/Brake Pedal Assembly Compatability

I'm trying to get my hands on a clutch/brake pedal assembly for my '99 Legacy which is about to receive a 5MT to replace its 4EAT. I found an assembly from a WRX but I'm not sure if it will fit. Any ideas? I need to get this by Friday as that's when my transmission is going in.

I'm pretty sure the new age ones are shaped differently.

The guy at the salvage yard said they looked the same, but the part number was different. Can anyone else confirm this?
