Default Splash guards for WRX

I'm looking for a splash guards set for my WRX for the winter. I'm looking for those big rally style ones, but don't want to spend $500 for STi ones. Are there any you guys/gals would recommend?

i recommend buying some for the RS and breaking out your dremmel.

rears will bolt right on...

fronts need a bit o work to fit... but they will fit...

you can view the mod in exterior on www.scoobymods.com

and all discount retailers (like... www.allsubaru.com) will carry subaru accessories (splash guards) at a discount...

good luck

Congrats Subie Gal on your Championship win!!!

Those splash guards look good and strong, but I was concerned that they don't have the coverage of the big rally style ones. Do you or anyone have these splash guards and how well do they protect the paint. I just might have to get me a set.

Default rs splash guards

I have the rs splash guards on my wrx with the hack job but they dont do a great job with my OZ's. Not to bad with the stock wheels but still there are chips up the side of my car. Id say go with something a little bigger.

true rally style flaps are HUGE... if you dont mind that look,
you can buys some from www.rallylights.com

go to the main menu and purchase rally style flaps.
Urethane, soft and flexible....

they should be $16ish per flap.... you cut to fit...

i had some mounted on my RS for a time...
photos....

installation:

maybe this will work for you?
all depends on tastes really.
good luck

Thanks for the info usctom and dbrier. Yep, those massive rally flaps are what I'm looking for. I think the rally look would look cool in the winter months, especially when the car is drifting

another vote for the Prodrives here. I have a set on my wagon and they have a very nice oem look to them. They are not made of plastic from what I can tell, they appear to be some type of hefty urethane foam. Below is a shot I found since I have no picture of my own. Like several other members I picked mine up from Arne his email is ibarne@netzero.net
The guards are simple to install with no type of modification to the guards or the car. They definately get a thumbs up from me and so does Arne.

Prodrives are NOT cheap... Plus, I don't think they look as good.

$45 and a dremel for factory look...

Prodrive guards are not cheap but they are the most durable and beefiest guards I have come across. I do not regret spending the extra $$$ on these guards and if you ask other Prodrive guard owners they will probably say the same. Here is another picture I found with painted Prodrive guards.

Send an email to this guy and he will fix you up on a set ibarne@netzero.net I bought mine from him as did several other members. I think the price has varied from each person here however I purchased mine from Arne for $196 shipped. They are relatively simple to install despite hole alignment issues on the front guards, but don't let that bother you. Ultimately you will be pleased with them.

Does anyone know if Prodrive is making splash guards for the 2004 STi? The fronts would be slightly different than the WRX.
