serious- I got the same engine, no transmission. I'm dropping mine into an RS though, keeping the Leg NA. All I need now is the RS....

I don't know how I really stack up on this, but there's been quite a bit of work put into this. Here goes the list:

Engine
-EJ22T closed deck block
-Forged Pauter rods
-Ceramic/moly coated cast pistons
-OEM oil squiters in block
-Custom cut oil pan baffle
-'93 JDM DOHC heads (rocker style) ~7.5:1 CR
**soon to be replaced with '96 Ver.5 STi DOHC (shim-bucket style) ~8.5:1 CR
-STi timing belt
-Hydraulic piston style T.belt tensioner
-2.5L intake manifold
-HKS air filter
-OEM 2.5 exhaust manifold...just haven't decided which one to get; Borla or TWE
-2.25" up-pipe wrapped
-3" DP & full exhaust to a 2 chamber Dynomax muffler

Fuel & Boost
-Custom fuel rails w/550cc Bosch top-feed injectors
-Holley 255lph fuel pump
-TMIC 19*10*3.5
-Innovative Turbo T3/T4OE Stage5 dual-BB .48AR water cooled
-Greddy Type-S BOV
-Turbo XS MBC for the time being
**Car is running 18psi currently

Electronics
-LinkPlus EMS
-HKS turbo timer

Drivetrain/Suspension
-Koni adjustable struts
-H&R springs
-Full SPO 22mm rear bar setup w/Kartboy links
-OEM front bar w/Whiteline links
-STi 4pots OE pads & rotors *DBA 4000 on order
-STi motor/tranny and strut tops
-SYMS short shift kit
-SYMS strut tower bars; front & rear
-ACT clutch
-Lightened flywheel 16lbs
-Rota Tarmac 2 on order
-Tires TBA...in transition
-Gold '98 wheels w/BFG R1's for track

Interior/Exterior
-Color matched lower trim
-Japan aftermarket grill
-Morrettes
-PIAA 510 pencil beams
-JMD tails
-JDM clear side markers
-35% tint
-Deleted OE fog lights...now brake ducts
-Sparco Torino seats/shift ball/grip pedals/3-point harrnesses
-White faces gauges/AutoMeter EGT/oil press./WT/boost

I thinks that about does it. Until now I didn't realize there was that much into the car. This last summer I put the car on a Mustang Dyno for a tuning sessions that was as event. To say the least we had problems with the Link EMS boost control and had to revert back to the MBC. After 3hours of the car idling on the rollers and a scorching IC the car made 212awhp. From what I've heard on a DynoPack that may equate to ~240awhp. Either way it wasn't bad for a HOT IC tune.

More to come... lately I've pulling dead weight out of the car. Soon I'll start playing with the '91 Turbo Leg.

my 1990 wagon ran a best of 14.967 at 90 mph. I am hoping for a 14.5 with the supercharger and nitrous running together. My clutch doesnt look forward to this.

Well, Syms GT definitely has me beat all around, but mine IS pretty damn fast, and I have yet to see anything like it around my area....let's see:

Vehicle: 1998 Legacy GT

Powertrain/Mods:
--EJ25D Phase I DOHC engine (overbored +0.020")
--Arias forged pistons oversize pistons (8.98:1 CR)
--Stage I Forced Air Technologies Turbo Kit (T04E)
--WRX Intercooler
--TurboXS manual boost controller (@7 psi)
--Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley
--Borla Header (wrapped)
--Custom 2.5" exhaust
--Hyper Grounding System
--SPT flat panel mesh filter
--ApexI Super Air Flow Converter

--Some other small crap not worth mentioning

Hey, Syms GT, I'm thinking of getting a bigger exhaust on this sucker, got any recommendations?
--Kartboy short-throw shifter+bushings
--Whiteline adjustable sway bar

I would like to think that my 96 is probably one of the quickest in the country right now. Not the fastest as i'm sure somebody out there just isn't speaking up and has something very sick.

96 legacy LS with complete 03 jdm sti swap-avcs-twinscroll
6mt/R180 stuff
Full brembos (hey, if i can't be the quickest at least i'll stop the fastest right?!)
Full sti suspension
Weight reduction

Stock engine for now, so that should mean right at the 300hp mark. I haven't dynoed it yet, or ran it at the strip so i'm just talking.

this one is quite cool though, too bad its not in the us or it would win outright

High 12's at 5000ft. Just a little slower than a supercharged cobra from a roll.

My car *should* do a very very low 12 if not a high 11 in the quarter probably hitting the speed limiter. Haven't ran it at the strip yet, so i don't know for sure.
How? 355 whp!

Alright DamienX and serious cough up some details cuz that's mighty fast...! especially at 5000 feet

I run a solid 13.7 @ 100mph with 256whp, and 12's into 11's should be +100/200 more hp then me... Let's hear some details...

That number is whp and pretty much at sea level on a race gas brew. I have a full version 8 jdm sti swap, so that's pretty much all you need to know. I have the basic upgrades like a utec and exhuast, but the car is much lighter than a wrx, so that realllllly helps out.
I think the 6mt gives it a little also. Then again, i'm only speculating that it would go that fast. Another guy with the same engine in a wrx ran a 12. flat and he was only making 331 at the wheels. My car is about 100-150 pounds lighter and has about 25 more whp.

Lighter than a WRX? We're putting all this in a 96 legacy right? Those the stock ones weigh 3030 lbs at the light end of the scale, then the sti transmissions aren't particularly light, nor are all those other beafy components. I coulda sworn that I read the STI 6-speed weighs like 100lbs more than a 5speed. The WRX stock weighs 3085... your car might be 100-150 lbs heavier, maybe?

Don't go running around bragging too much about a blank timeslip ;-) Put the car together, then run it, THEN let us know how it goes. Goodluck.

Currently I think we have the fastest legacy in NW rally. I make no claims on tarmac so you're safe there. I'd love an excuse to go to Hawaii though as I've never been.

Mods:
Ver8 swap with ver6 RA gears and diffs.
The restrictor, however, slows us down a bit.

Thatís a serious swap, guess thatís why they call you serious

Seriously though Iíd love to see some pics of your conversion. Out of all the boosted BDís on this forum, I donít recall seeing one with a v8 jdm swap. EJ207, jdm heads w/avcs coupled with a 6mt should be one bad ass Legacy!!!! The twinscroll turbos cool for spool, but with a setup like that you need to go BIG since the internals and tranny can support it.

You got a picture gallery or anything?

The 6mt is basically the same size and weight of an auto tranny. My car came with an auto and stock with half a tank of gas it weighed at 3040. Since then i've added, but taken away too.
I removed the following:
A/C with all wires
ABS with all wires
Air Bags with all related stuff
Replaced the stock seats with 2.5 rs non fold down seats
So for all the stuff i added ( turbo intercooler 4 cam heads etc...) i basically probably broke even. And the wrx's don't wiegh 3085 they are closer to 3200 pounds.

Don't go running around bragging too much about a blank timeslip ;-) Put the car together, then run it, THEN let us know how it goes. Goodluck.

Who's bragging?! I said i'm ONLY speculating that it would go that fast-i didn't say it would go that fast.
My car is together and has been so for over a year. In its stock condition (version 8) with NO mods it would beat the living snot out of any stage 4 wrx or sti around. Now that i have a u tec and tune it's even better...

2566 lbs. What configuration Legacy from the dealer was this? Minus stereo, speakers and seats, A/C?

I think Miata's and Mini's are in the 2500lb range?
