You, are kind of being a troll. Search serious' user name. You think that all of the posts about his car are fake? Not everyone has the desire/time/ability to take pictures and post on the internet for some guy that rarely posts in the forum who all of the sudden is calling BS. Big deal, not everyone needs to prove themselves to internet people.

mvstype is not a troll, serious does always talk about his swap without posting pics, that doesnt mean he didnt do it, I am sure he did, but having such a unique car, I would like to see it as well as the rest of the community, and people could benefit from his knowledge when he posts people will ask questions and learn, which is what the forums are about IMO.

I dont know if he is trying to stay low profile in the "street racing scene" or what, but seriously why wouldnt you want to share what you have accomplished with fellow enthusiasts, even build up pics are sweet.

so, either stop talking about the car if you arent gonna show pics of the swap, or i just might have to get over you not posting pics, which wont happen

There's no "believed" about it, inertia dynos read more optimistic numbers than load bearing dynos. As previously discussed here, DynaPacks in particular produce the highest numbers because there's no losses to the rolling stock (wheels and tires).

The BD Legacys weigh almost exactly the same as a GD WRX. Curb weight on the 2.5GT sedan is 3090# vs. 3085# for the WRX sedan and 3165# for the WRX wagon. (FWIW, I seem to recall my '97 2.5GT Owner's Manual saying curb weight is 3125# for the 5-speed sedan - the numbers I'm quoting here are from www.edmunds.com ).

I'm just helping to clarify here. I'm certainly not intending to take anything away from your car - it's over a second and a half quicker than mine in the 1/4mi, and about 11mph faster! Based on my dyno results (~40hp over stock, so ~205hp at the crank) + the old drag racing thumbrule (highly accurate ) of 1mph = 10hp, you're around 315hp at the crank.

I'm not overly worried about too many people knowing what i have. Even before i got back to my hometown after being dynoed, half of the people around knew what my car put down. I have people coming up to me on the street or driving that know my car, but i don't know them.
Half of not wanting to post pics is becuase the car really does look like as s. Paint falling off, interior not back in and the other part is not wanting to answer a million questions. I don't have the time for that.
Plus that other people will call b/s no matter what. I have a dyno read out of what my car put down and still there are people that are calling b/s, so that has something to do with it.

Yeah, no pictures and lots of talk is crap. ie, you are an ass.

But yeah, prove something or shut up. I don't even own a damn digital camera and yet somehow manage to post quite a few pictures.

But back to fastest Legacy........

My best is now about a 14.7 at 93mph. Thats with nitrous and FI.

Just FI is 15.2 or so.

But I am capable of mucho better but just dont have the money yet to spend on engine management. The best boost I have hit so far is only 7psi on and NA block and ECU.

i have seen serious' car in person, and i must say it is a very well done car. I dont know if he wants me to post specifics on what i saw, but that car is NO BS, and probably qualifies as one of the fastest legacy's in the nation.

I have a picture of it as well. I just can't find it (three different hard drives).

I don't remember showing it to anyone in washington unless you bought something from me in the past. At this point it probably is one of the fastest as in quickest in the quater mile, but for sure not the fastest as i still have the jdm speed limiter at 115. Funny thing is though i can get it up to about 122 with the extra 7 mph just coasting from the momenteum.

I was calling the b/s ers in oregeon, not the others.

I'm done modding it for this year. In the spring i plan on upgrading the turbo, adding a decent intake and redoing the ghetto downpipe. I'm hopping for around 400 whp, but i'll see when i get there. After that i may go with a real turbo something like a gt30-35 R and play with a different block, probably a 2.2 closed deck as i like to have and engine that can rev.

I didn't build the car to be an all out brawler and i don't believe it is. It is quick and a blast to drive. I built it to be my every day driver and something i can pick up grocerys in. I have another car that's my focus for real speed.

go for a GT30R I think it is a .63 turbine housing, but it could be the .82, i'll check, but we had Jarrad's Legacy GT(PDXTuning) do 389whp on pump gas 93 with it on a mustang dyno, and I was in the car(not at that power level unfortunately), the turbo spools up instantly it is the perfect street turbo for the 2.5 I think. Not sure if your numbers are on pump or what dyno it was also but something to consider.

No need to get defensive, you know your car is fast even if it really doesnt have a swap just kidding, seriously I know your car is probably fast, much faster than mine right now at least(165 hp of NA fury). How about you send me pics of your car then I will post them and say its someone elses I know.

Well so far I think I'm the only one to post evidence of how fast mine it, although it's not up there with Serious or DamienX. Still, mid 13's isn't bad

I have to replace my front windshield and secure the battery in the trunk in a nice fashion first. Apparently they dont like cracked windshields or loose batteries.

I just did a 14.9 @ 89 mph on Friday. Stock 2.2 with 370 cc injectors at 10 psi via supercharger. Was getting consistant 1.9 0-60' times.
