Cool Attention all Impreza Owners.

OK we are all scared of getting robbed and having our windows busted in just to have some punk take our stereos. I found something that may help us out. It was in May's Evo magazine and is called Pentagon Supaglass I have never heard of this tint before but they show a picture of a car window that has been hit with a hammer "repeatedly" it is still in one piece it is shattered but there is no hole in the glass so no one can get into the car. Does anyone know where to get this stuff in the US it is pretty expensive 250 pounds but at least they won't get my stereo. or my seats. Which I am having welded in by the way.

Any of the UK guys ever heard of this tint I would like to hear any reviews that you may have on it.

Chris

Try the FoliaTec website www.foliatec.de ; can't remember if it's on their website or just in their catalogue. Then talk with Cheryl at Heuberger Motors (Subaru dealer) in CO Springs 719.475.1956. They work directly with the US distributor for FoliaTec

Yeah I'm not sure they totally rely on the old hitting it with some porcelian method, at least not if they really want something. I would think a screwdriver or a utility knife after hitting it with a hammer would make it through fine...

I figured out how to fix the problem of theft in our RS's. you can keep your seats, your radio, and keep your RS safe. Do what I do. Sleep in it. I never leave my RS. It makes it difficult when going to the bathroom but i've perfected it. I don't even splash anymore!

keep in mind that they will also just bust out the lock and open the door, I've had that done to an old car of mine, if they want to get in your car they will, it's just that simple nowadays.

Get a Aftermarket Security System because:
The Best way to brake into a car IS NOT THROUGH the window.

1) bulk magnet, high powered taser, and other things can easilly knock out the stock SS
2) screwdriver behind the lock and pop the lock off ....less noise or spray dry ice in the lock

I'm gettin the Alpine sec8063p or better as soon as the cash flow allows

Best way to keep your car safe? Park in a garage or secured lot at all times.
