Escrow Scam.... Seller Beware... W-trader.com

Maybe the title is a little misleading...but I wanted everyone to know what happened....

I put a piece of jewelry on ebay just to see if someone would be interested... Appraised worth was over $16k. Well it turns out that a guy in Switzerland was interested and wanted to buy it via an Escrow account....He sends me a link to an online Escrow company www.w-trader.com.

Well, after talking to www.escrow.com they informed me that more than likely this guy is trying to commit fraud...I knew something didn't feel right...especially when he told me not to worry about insuring the jewelry and to claim a low value so he didn't have to pay high customs tax...some BS like that....

Anyway, just wanted to share the experience....hope no one has fallen to this over seas BS....
