Hucker, you may be thinking of Robotech. It had a city inside the giant ship(s) (SDF1, SDF2, SDF3 and SDF4 across all the episodes) and the jets, one of them being:

The Valkyre. They were known as Veritechs.

I always like the original bad guys in Robotech, the Zentraedi. In fact they were the subject of my first web page. I really need to get around to updating it.

edit: I just looked at my web page and decided not to include it after all; it's just so old.

I forgot about that cartoon. Robotech kicks a$$! Much better than the crappy transformers.

. I used to collect comics for a bit and I have the origional copy of Macross #1. Anyone know how much it's worth.

I ain't 30 by any means...but i did and still do watch these shows to this day. Ahh the wonders of a satellite dish.

What about my favorite, Thunder Cats. That show freakin' ruled. I still have the majority of my thundercats toys tucked away in storage. Duck Dodgers in the 24.5 century ruled. And so did Mighty Mouse, and what about the smurfs (i know it is from the 80's but what da you what) that show ruled. Did you ever see the episode with Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner, where he bought the acme jet powered roller skates, and kept chasing down R.R., untill road runner stopped, and bam, he hits the face of teh clif, and then later on he almost catches him by using teh acme cannon to shoot himslef out of, and then flies head first into a boulder. Or the one where he uses the giant spring to lauch himself after R.R. and gets shot upwards instead. MAn that sow is freakin' hillarious!

Ahh, memories, sweet sweet memories. And what about teh classic Yogi Bear. He Boo Boo, i gonna steal me the ranger's picinic basket. Ohh uhh yogi, i don't think that is such a good idea. Man all these shows ruled!

Keep listing all the shows, can't remember all the old ones i watched a long time ago.
